Take a quick moment to look outside your window and observe what's there. If you can go stand under a tree and just be present in the moment. You're going to feel great! Now if you wanna know why you felt so good please take sometime read my little blog post!

Ecotherapy was once under the discipline of psychology. Philosophers have always thought that nature was an amazing healing agent for the mind, body and spirit. The thing nowadays we are always around technology and may have developed something called Nature Deficit Disorder. This tends to happen when we don’t go outside and interact with nature regularly. However, if we do go outside in nature and experience the outdoors we can experience some great health benefits. The benefits are a decrease in heart rate, blood pressure and cortisol. There is also an increase in biochemicals that have a calming effect on the mind and body. Not only do we have physical benefits there are also some mental benefits. Being outside and seeing how vast nature is can put into perspective how small our personal problems are and help reduce our stress levels. Not only do we get a sense of peace and awe but we can also improve our mental cognition! Some people can experience better attention spans, memory and concentration skills!

Make sure to take sometime out of your day to just go outside and smell the roses!
